Fun, Fun and more FUN

Okay so I know it's been a while since my last blog...I've just been sooo busy lately with things going on. A couple of weeks ago my two cousins graduated from High School and they had a big party. I danced in a couple of numbers. It was really nice to brush up on my dancing abilities. I didn't realize how much I missed doing it. Here are two pictures from that night. I had so much fun.
The week of the graduation party my sister-in-law had her baby shower. It was really nice and we had a taco man. Best tacos I've ever had in my life. They were DELICIOUS. She's due August 08, but my guess is July 26th.....I can't wait for my nephew to come. It will be nice to have a boy in the family...I'm def. girled out.
The following week I go together with Chiemi and made bows. It was a lot of fun. I really want to get together with the girls real soon. I also got to visit with my mom. I'm so thankful for her. She seriously is the BEST mom ever. It's unbelievable how much closer we've become since I got married. She's like my best friend...other than my hubby. I don't know what I would do without her. She gives me such great advice. Jared's mom is such a great mother-in-law. She does sooooo much for my girls and me. She reminds me of my nana and grandpa in NZ. I love them to death. I would do anything for them. They're like my second parents. I hope my kids feel that way about both sets of grandparents. My kids are so lucky to have them.
Oh yeah I was also called to be the YW Laurel advisor and I absolutely love it. I love Young Women's and my girls are great. The first week I taught they were soooo quiet, but now they participate in the lessons and it makes it so much easier. I am looking forward to getting to know me girls.
This past weekend My family and I went to the Lake Camp out with the YW and YM. It was a blast. I went boating for the first time and actually went tubing. I cant wait to go on another trip.So that's about it. There were a ton of other things, but I don't feel like writing anymore. Here is a picture of my girls today. They looked so CUTE for church. I love them sooo much! Oh yeah Sinalei giggled for the first time today. It was adorable. I'm going to try and keep track of her accomplishments. I didn't really do that with Sela so I'm going to try to do it with both of them...STARTING TODAY!

Mormon Night and bow making

So yesterday was really fun. I started the day by going to breakfast with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and my oldest daughter. We went to Ihop...our fav breakfast place. When we got home I had so much energy so I put the girls down for a morning nap and started bow making. I cant seem to just make one bow...I have to make atleast 10 because it's so much work to bring everything out. Here are some pictures of what I made...don't forget Chiemi if you ever want me to teach you just let me know or let me know what color bows you want and I can make them.

After bow making I got ready to go to the Angels game. It was a lot of fun especially because I had a kid free night. My husband offered to stay at home with the kids while I went with his sisters and Mom. He's the best. Father's day is tomorrow and I still am debating on what to get for him. If you guys have any good ideas let me know!

WE MADE IT!!!!

Today we reached our two year mark...2 years down, the rest of eternity to go....yeay, yeah, I know cheeeesy. Okay so today was fabulous. I got to spend the whole day with my hubby. Here we are eating at one of our favorite sushi places, Kabuki.
Earlier in the day we had breakfast at Ihop. It's one of our favorite breakfast joints. Later Jared surprised me with my gift. I've been wanting one for a while. Can you guess what it is? Yep I got my ipod nano I've been dying for. Jared even picked it out in pink. I absolutely LOVE it. I get sooo bored at the gym so now I have no excuses.

I'm totally excited to use it. Well after we had lunch we went to see a movie. I wanted to see Iron Man, but we would of had to wait an hour so we opted for Chronicles of Narnia. I must say I wasn't expecting to enjoy it. I was disappointed with the first one. After the movie we headed home to spend the evening with our daughters. I missed these little rascals so much. So when we got home we headed over to the voting booths in our neighborhood and fulfilled our civil duty. It was so cute the girls got stickers. I was going to take pictures of them, but by the time we got home...Sela had her sticker in her mouth and Sinalei's disappeared. Anyway that was my day. Tonight we're going to relax and watch a blockbuster movie. I cant wait for next year. By the way girls...I've got some GREAT pictures of us at my mom's house. I'm going to have to dig them up next time I go there...muahahahaha. Anyway, till next time. Oh yeah here are the pics of us at dinner at Elephant Bar. Enjoy.

2 Year Anniversary

Okay, so tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary and boy has it been packed with major events in our lives. We got pregnant with our first child 2 weeks after we got married. We named her Sela Ilaisaane Manu. Sela is named after Jared's mom. Sela is such a Daddy's girl. This picture is when she was about a month old.
It was such an amazing experience to become a mother. I was completely overwhelmed with the love I instantly felt for my daughter. I now fully understood the love Heavenly Father has for all of his children. Sela has brought so much happiness into our lives and I cannot picture our lives without her.
So now she's 1 and time has gone by so fast. Well along the way we got pregnant with our second child. We named her Sinalei Tumama after my grandmas. They are 11 months apart. It's been pretty hectic these past few months. She's now 2 1/2 months old. She's a bit of a fussy baby, but when she's ina good mood she's such a delight. She's the happiest when she's taking a bath. She's never once cried during a bath. So opposite from her sister. Anyway both our daughters are such a blessing and I am so thankful for them. They teach me so much everyday. So in less than 2 years we had two children...I know we're crazy. Well I am completely crazy about my husband. He has been such an amazing father and husband. He helps me so much and I am so proud of him for making the decision to finish school and get a degree. Next year we'll be moving to Utah to attend BYU. I am a bit scared, but also very excited to start that part of our lives. Anyway I love my little family so much. I'll write more tomorrow to tell you what Jared has planned for tomorrow. Toodles.

Welcome to the World of Blogging

Okay so I'm totally new to this, but my friend Kellie and Chiemi convinced me to try it out. Hopefully I'll keep it up. Anyway speaking of the girls...We went out to dinner last night with Deborah to the Elephant Bar. It was sooooo much fun to catch up with them. It had been years since the last time we saw each other. It was great to reminise about the old days...we were laughing soooo hard and LOUD. I felt sorry for the people around us..lol. So I totally want to keep getting together when we have time to. That's all for now. I'll post pictures when I upload from my camera.
