Busy, busy weekend!!!

Well this weekend was sooooo fun. Jared and I were able to hang out with some of my friends from High School and church. Thank goodness for moms because my mother-in-law offered to take care of the kids. We arrived 30 minutes late because my husband takes twice as long to get ready than I do. I swear I'm the man in the relationship. Anyway when we got there we played couple pictionary. I am terrible at this game, but Jared is a pro. Take a look at one of his pictures he drew in 30 seconds.

It was balance beam. Kellie and Brett were the champs. They blew everyone away. I have a feeling they practice in secret all the time.

Chiemi and Brett were hilarious. They got some pretty difficult words.

This is Kellie and Brett. Pictionary Champions.
It was so much fun to hang out with them. Hopefully we'll do it again.

Today was a special day for my brother Greg and his friend Dennise. Greg got to baptize her. It was a lovely program. I am so happy for Dennise and I hope she will grow stronger and develop a deeper testimony of our Savior.

Well that's about it. We did a couple of other things like go to Down Town Disney. The girls love going places. Jared and I enjoy making them happy so we try to find things to do that don't cost a lot of money or nothing at all. If you have any suggestions, please share. Hopefully we will make it to the Pumpkin Patch with my good friend Chiemi. It's going to be so much fun!

Weight Loss and Haircut

Ok so I lost one pound this week...29 more to go. I was a little disappointed, but I shouldn't be, considering how I ate this past weekend. Lets just say I went out of control while my husband was gone. I think I had takeout for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Starting tomorrow I am going to try and eat healthier. Looking back on how my week was...one pound LOST is GREAT.
Now my haircut. I cut off 5 inches. I think I will like it more once it grows out a little bit. The girl who cut my hair asked me if I wanted bangs and I said "sure, but not short because I wear my hair curly too." Now what do you think she did? She cut short bangs!!!! Ahhhh....now I will have to straighten my hair all the time till my bangs grow out...NOT FUN for a mother of two young babies. Anyway, when Jared saw my hair he said it was "different" but he liked it. How am I suppose to take that? LOL. Oh well..that's a man for ya.

Mommy and Sinalei

The past couple of days my husband and oldest daughter have been out of town. Jared's sister Lolohea's son was blessed on Sunday. Unfortunately, I was not able to go due to the cost of airfare.....so sad, but I was thinking of my little nephew all day Sunday. Jared said it turned out wonderful so that makes me happy.
So Sinalei and I got some quality time together. We spent a couple of days with my mom and family. It was so nice. Having one child is such a walk in the park. I remember thinking having one baby was so difficult...but it's not...well not for me. I had so much free time I didn't know what to do. I even got to get a haircut...I'm still adjusting to it. Anyway I miss my husband and daughter so much, but I am glad that I was able to spend a lot of time with my baby Sinalei. She is def. a handful, but I love her and her sister to pieces. They are my life and I would sacrifice anything for them.

Weight Loss

I am soooooo inspired by Kellie and Brett's blog. I too feel like if I set a goal and actually publish it I will feel more compelled to lose some weight.
Having children has def. changed my body and I've always had weight issues growing up. My weight would constantly yo-yo up and down. I would like to maintain a healthy weight for my height. I will NOT put my real weight up, but I would like to lose 30 pounds. Each Tuesday I will let you know how much I've lost or gained. Hopefully this works!!!!! Pictures coming soon!!! Kellie you guys are hilarious!!

I would like to look like this again. Just an image to motivate myself

AHHHH!!!!

Someone help me!!! I now have two mobile children. Sinalei has started to crawl, well army crawl actually. I always thought she would get her first tooth first. It's been a while since I've blogged and there's so much that's gone on. On Friday my kids and nephew took pictures at the mall. They were adorable. My oldest Child, Sela, refused to take pictures...so there she is with her arms folded being stubborn. Hopefully oneday I will be able to get a good picture with her sister at a professional place during Christmas.
So the past two weeks my nephew Semisi spent time with us while his mother transitioned herself into the working field. It was so nice to have him with us and to play with his big cousins. Having him here def. made me aware that I am not ready for a third child....not for a LONG TIME. I just don't know how I would divide my time up. Lots of people do it, but I am just not ready for it.
Also, My baby sister Nichola aka Nikki, turned thirteen in September. Here is a picture from my wedding. She was 10 years old.She is growing into such a beautiful young lady. Don't tell anyone, but she is my favorite. Jeff is a close second. She is the sweetest girl and such a hard worker. This year she has a 4.0 gpa. We are all so proud of her. We always make fun of her because she is supposedly the "blonde" in the family...but she sure did show us. Go Nikki!!! We love you soooooo much.
Sinalei also turned 6 months last month and I cant believe how fast time flies. I feel like I just had her a month ago. She has blessed our lives in so many ways and her sister absolutely loves her. They are so cute to watch together. I only hope that they will grow up to be the best of friends/sisters. Sinalei 's accomplishments thus far:
  • I can army crawl
  • I can sit up
  • smile
  • laugh
  • baby talk
  • clap my hands
  • sleep for 5 hours...this is a miracle...we cant wait for her to sleep for 8
We love you Sinalei!!!!
Our oldest daughter, Sela is 18 months and she is the life of the PARTY. Wherever she goes...laughter follows. She has the funniest personality and I credit that to her father. He is the most hilarious person I know. He makes me laugh everyday and I love him for that. Sela is gaining words slowly, but we know she will start talking when she is ready. We are going to try and potty train her and see how that goes.
Now an ode to my hubby. I am the luckiest women in the world to have a husband like mine. He truly is the greatest father and husband. Every night he bathes my girls, plays with them, feeds them...does stuff that most mommies do and I am sooooooo grateful to him for all the help he gives me. My daughters are so lucky to have him. I love him so much and don't know what I would do without himThis is us his senior year in high school. The good ole' days...when we had no worries except the occassional pimple..lol...but seriously I loved him then and I love him a million times more now.

Girls, girls, girls and DATE NIGHT

Ok so nothing much going on over here. Just thought I'd post some adorable pictures of my girls. I love them soooo much. They make my life so much more enjoyable. I love to watch them play together. Sela is learning new things everyday. She said the word "bird" two nights ago and she is absolutely obsessed with airplanes.
Well last Friday my husband and I were able to go on a DATE!!!!!!! It was so awesome. My wonderful mother-in-law offered to watch the kids while we went on a date. I was thrilled!!! I cant even begin to explain how happy I was when my MIL offered to watch my little rugrats. As you can tell...we hardly ever go on dates. The last date we went on was June 3rd (our anniversary) So my husband and I decided to go to the Bella Tera in HB to see if there was a movie we would like to watch or restaurant that would interest us. We got there and we decided to just have dinner. It was so nice to just get away and have a little break from our kids and to also just catch up with one another. After dinner we went to Target and got a few things we needed for our kids. I am so thankful for my hubby, my kids, our loving families and friends.
